Some Ask! in The odd entries from life …….

Wednesday was a taste of spring, Thursday was fine rain all day it’s what the locals call a soft day, but you still get wet; very wet! Today began middling weather wise but by mid morning there was a near clear sky, very few clouds but a sky of blue.

Be had three packages, for my Daughter they were new cushions for the settee, the looked lovely in the lounge, I was told to keep Ziggy and Lola of the new cushions, at lest I wasn’t on the list; but keeping the dogs of the cushions was some ask!

With the pleasant weather I though it was a good day to walk Ziggy, I put the head harness on Ziggy I nearly got it right first time. I put on a jacket that is lighter for this day, we set off with Ziggy walking nicely, at every road we were going to cress I made Ziggy sit, he sits slowly and looks round but not on the road; I take my time looking up and down the road.

We cross with care so we don’t rush, he dose that for men and at my speed – slowly’ish! We meet three people on the footpath, the first was a man walking quickly, I take Ziggy a little down a drive; Ziggy jumps a few times as he passes! Along the walk a young man passes us in the middle of the road, Ziggy sits as I told him and he jumps just once. The third are a young couple with a toddler who is steeping out in a awaked gate, again I back Ziggy down a drive and Ziggy sits as I tell him; the mother thanks me as they pass.

All in all I was pleased with Ziggy, we had a nice relaxed walk, there are two walks I us but today I took Ziggy round both walks; crossing the main road through Grampound Road Ziggy stopped when told and only walked when I did.

Back home we went into the lounge, there was my Daughter asleep on the settee with Lola next to her on a new cushion …..

To relax after the walk Ziggy sat in the window watching people walking pass, I think more people know Ziggy that know me.

Mid afternoon and we still have a good amount of blue sky, a few clouds are gathering but we are still having a better day than yesterday!
