I’ve been writing a lot today. That’s what happens when I’m expected to do a 12 hour (straight) day in the Law Library. It certainly doesn’t help that the COs aren’t bringing the MoDs I call. I’ve got COs and Administrators walking by, looking into the room and then looking at me like, “Why are you here if you aren’t going to do your job?” I smile and nod, trying to be friendly and professional. While internally I’m thinking, “This place wouldn’t be empty if your staff did their job!” But… so is the struggle of being the ONLY department in the Jail not represented by the Union. Shit has to roll down hill and darn it all if this isn’t the bottom of that hill.
