Wow I haven’t written in like a month! Didn’t even realize that. I do read you guys still. I guess I just forgot to write. So anyways, I’m 29.5 weeks pregnant now and things are going well. I’m feeling especially HUGE lately and get out of breath from going up the stairs and stuff like that. I get tired way quicker than my usual, non-large self. Like, today I went and did a big grocery shop with Miles and then had to go to the hospital for an injection and after that and putting all the groceries away I was just exhausted lol. I’m tired still after a short nap but it’s 5pm so if I want I can go to bed anytime after I put the kids to bed at 7.

I have had so many pregnancy-related appointments to go to in the last 2 weeks it’s crazy! I had to have my blood sugar tested (passed thank goodness), I had to go for 2 blood draws, an injection today, a 5th and final ultrasound to monitor the baby’s growth and of course my OB appointments which are bi-weekly. I always have to take Miles to these different things and he’s not always cooperative or in a good mood so that makes them extra tiring. I’m interested to see how big the doctor says the baby is next week at my appointment. I think they’re usually around 3.5 pounds at this point. I’m in this baby group with a bunch of ladies also due in April on facebook and a lady that had the exact same due date as me actually had her baby a couple of weeks ago. She’s posted pictures and he is so tiny! Obviously 27 weeks pregnant is scary early to have a baby when 40 weeks is full term but she got lucky and he actually only needed to have a bit of oxygen and now he’s completely fine besides having to stay in the hospital until he gains weight (he was 2lbs, 6oz).

I bought a used medela swing single electric breast pump off of someone in town for $50. I thought that was a great deal. She said she barely used it and it looks to be in great condition! I also got the wonderful news that my parents would like to buy us an awesome gift for the baby which is any double stroller we want!! I was so excited to hear that!! I really like side-by-side strollers so I think we are going to go with a double BOB stroller which is called the Bob Duallie Revolution SE or something like that. It’s like $750 but my Dad says he doesn’t care what the price is, as long as it pushes easily and works well for us. I can’t wait to get it!! And I love that the baby is going to be born in the spring because we will have so many months to use it, walking around town and such. And hopefully by the time the weather gets cold in late September or October I will have lost most, if not all, of my pregnancy weight.

I’m so tired of the winter already....we’ve had a milder one than usual but still, I’m so over it. Doesn’t help that I know that with the warmer weather will come a wonderful new baby!! I have pretty much everything I need for her now. I just need a few small, last minute things. We took the boys to a hotel in Niagara Falls that has an indoor water park for a couple of days in mid January and had an awesome time. We go once a year in the winter just to get away from the yucky weather and do something fun. It was so wonderful being cocooned in the warmth of the hotel and the waterpark area for 2 days. Cody loved swimming and couldn’t get enough of it and Miles enjoyed it but he needed some convincing sometimes. He was basically stuck to me the whole time, even though the kiddie pool was just past his waist. I had puddle jumpers for the kids to use, which were great and especially useful when Cody wanted to go out in the wave pool with me. He loved when the waves came in and the puddle jumpers prevented him from going under. Miles didn’t want to be anywhere near the waves lol.

I have about 9 weeks until the baby is born now!! And Mike and I seriously need to pick a name lol. Right now I’m leaning towards Ella, Jade and Summer
