Here’s the best part of this city,
when there’s hardly anyone but me
I know that sounds selfish
but this is rarity is any citizen’s wish

Here’s the best moment of this city
It’s when over the half of population is away
Nights are quiet
It’s quite alright

I know these things are rare
Enjoy while they’re still there
Once the pack returns with a much larger number,
it’s time for what’s already familiar

There’ll be the taking up of each other’s space
or simply fighting to get the best place
But there’ll be other moments
like how seasons turn
In the meantime, allow me to be
enjoying this city’s rarity…
