Friday afternoon in New Diary

Well so much for my plan to quit smoking. Damn me. It didn’t last an hour. Called Chocolatechip and asked her to come up for coffee. She came up and started to smoke. I had one with her. I was determined to quit smoking but I guess I was not determined enough. Feel really bad but then again I keep telling myself there is nothing like cigarette and a cup of coffee in the morning.,

I spent the morning looking at books on my NOOK. I saw a couple I wanted to buy and almost gave in., I have a couple John Steinbeck’s books on my wish list. I was thinking about buying East of Eden and Grapes of Wrath. I read those when I was a kid and it would be nice to read them again sometime. But I said to myself I am short of money this month and might need the money for other things. Besides I have three books in my library I haven’t read yet These should keep me busy this month and I still got a State of Denial to go through,
