Holidays in A Day in the Life of Me

Well, the Christmas holidays are over. The check and dvd actually arrived the day before we left, so I had his final gift and a lil extra cash.

The 3 days home actually went well, Dad was a bit of a sulk, but not as bad as he has been in the past. They had no clue we were arriving when we did, so it was a huge surprise for them, I was a bit of a brat and kept knocking on the door that I knew wasn’t locked, and when mom opened it ready to give hell to who ever was stirring up the dog, well, her face was priceless!!!! There was apparently a few tears as well!!
Best part, whole trip (back) cost me 2 coffees, and $20! And it wasn’t easy to get them to take the $20, tried to give $40 and she refused to take that much.

So Present list - I surprised mom with a new leather wallet and purse she picked out at my work back in October, got a hell of a deal on em between the sale and my discount that we had on black friday, plus a stephen king book, sweater, and some bath stuff.
Dad, well there isn’t much I can get him, but I found him some stuff for his Cast Iron frying pans that seemed to please him.

D LOVED all his gifts lol I can actually reveal what i got him now.. lol
Fox and the Hound Dvd
Rammistine CD that he was missing from his collection
Transfers he needed for Warhammer stuff
gloves and
and 60 min Massage therapy appt.
All of which he loved!

I got a Wolf Onesie (from D)
Wolf Duvet set (from M&G)
2 wolf posters (sensing a theme yet? lol) (from mom&dad)
travel cup in the shape of a Canon Zoom lens (from D)
a remote for my camera (from D)
we also got from the folks
New bath towels
pantry stuffs
we both got 2 pairs of REALLY warm fuzzy socks
i got new jammies
D got some undershirts and axe body stuffs
we got a big bag of frozen foods too that mom did up and some baked goodies
Oh and money to put towards a new hand mixer as my ancient one was dying a slow painful death, as it is i am almost positive that it was smoking the last time i tried to use it! I actually picked one up today on sale :)
there is more i can’t think off the top of my head
all and all we made out pretty well lol.
