Star Trek to the uninitiated is rather intimidating. It’s a LOT of content, and it’s hard to know where to begin. As well, there are those that have only seen the recent JJ Trek and don’t understand what’s so wrong with them. (There’s a reason Trekkies feel betrayed.) These aren’t necessarily the “best” episodes, these simply represent what Star Trek is about in some way.
