With our daughter out of any serious just now, that leaves Sweetheart and I to see that Ziggy gets some action, the action happens on the upper part of our garden; known some times as the meadow.
Sweetheart throws the ball in various directions, my part of the action is standing on the edge in the centre of the action, I have a fifty-meter lead and guess who’s on the end, Ziggy or me! I’m not shore of my position, but I have learnt to never wonder where that ball is going with my mouth open!
When Zingy is running hard towards the far end of the garden, and I am holding the end of the fifty meter lead; as the lead is unrolling and straighten - I prepare to brace! Ziggy’s idea of multitasking is chasing a ball and watching a bird fly over; we’re just happy he doesn’t have wings – he would make a very strange kite!

A tennis racket and tennis ball comination is great on a big field. Do you ever go anywhere where Ziggy is off his lead?

Ziggy is a Bearded Collie, and there are two types the working and the non working, Ziggy is the latter and very friendly in an exited bouncy way, the can be nervous and have run off when frightened! Sweetheart has followed two on line, one was found the other not; so we keep him on a lead – some times a 50meter one. He been to the groomer today, his second time and he is great friends with her.
