With the success of Force Awakens, I’m totally okay with people thinking “Star Wars” is better than “Star Trek”, because being a Trekkie was never cool. Star Wars has heroes, villains, adventure, and ‘splosions. Star Trek has moral decisions, philosophy, and monologues.

Moreover, Star Wars has only seven movies in canon (with a bonus CGI series). That’s a mere fraction of the twelve movies and six series that one would need to watch to reach hardcore Trekkie status. Into only one Star Trek series? Still would take longer to watch.
