I think it was Christmas and I was trying to go back to Minnesota.
I don't remember what was going on but it was some kind of weird war going on and it was at my highschool, which I was attending, in NYC, at my current age of 23. (Why the fuck do I keep dreaming about high school?) It was like a Korean drama influenced comic-style fight between two groups at school or something but I remember sneaking away to go to the airport even though I didn't have a ticket. I got to the airport and I guess it was JFK but it was also the IT helpdesk where I used to work. Since I was trying to go back to MN I was trying to get in contact with my mom but no matter what I tried, nothing was working. My phone stopped working so I went in and asked to use the airport phone and one of the guys working was this kid I went to high or middle school with and he told me no I couldn't use the phone so I yelled at them exclaimed how I used to work here (meaning the IT helpdesk) and walked outside. I couldn't remember my moms e-mail address and I came to the realization I'd be spending the night at the airport. So I found this weird Starbucks and 3 AM and hung out there.
When I woke up I felt panicky because it's one day closer to the end of my lease and having to move. I always wake up with this urge to start packing and then I calm down after a few minutes. Someone once told me that if you're going to keep a dream journal it's important to record how you feel when you wake up.
