The Carpenters Won't Let Me Go in meh...

So I thought I had the problem licked with their music running through my head. Yesterday morning I actually didn’t have it in my mind and when I was watching the news, the tv traffic dude said, “Rainy days and Mondays always get me down,” and I yelled into the room, “God Damn It, Gary!!” I then quicly laughed and thought what if Spongebob said that to his pet snail sometime? LOL

But yes. I sat on the toilet at work singing, “Every Sha la la la, every woah oh oh oh, still shines…” and then I started whistling more of Yesterday Once More and “shoo be doo lang lang…“

Then the always favorite, “…tell me whyyyy then oh why should it be that we go on, hurting each other we go on, hurting each other…“

Then again that’s the nature of life right now isn’t it? Here it is supposed to be the season of good cheer and all that rot and guess what? People are killing people, hatred is being spread, families are in mourning, shit being blown up…just fuckin destruction everywhere. It saddens me and the only song that’s on constant repeat is “…we go on hurting each other…” even though I’m sure they are hurting each other differently, is that not what is going on these days?

Very disheartening, but I don’t worry.
I can’t worry.
