Jacarandas in Piccies

Just a couple of snappy’s I took on my walk home from work this afternoon. Sundays are so different because everything is so quiet compared to during the week.
I’ve especially noticed the Jacaranda’s over this past week. The ground beneath each one is just covered in the beautiful purple leaves that the wind blows from the trees. They are the obvious sign that Spring has well and truly arrived. In fact, there’s only just over a month of it left!
As I will be travelling to a different Hemisphere, I will be saying goodbye to this and hello to the season of Autumn.
The time of the year I love the most (well, now and Autumn) in my city, and I decide to leave it for a month. Why, Matt? Why??

It still surprises me hey. Like six days are so busy and then Sunday everyone is hungover and must stay inside or something lol. Unless you're me, out working, and work is busy! The city is busy though, but not my suburb right next to it. Even the hospital next door seems quiet.

So bizarre. I am really keen to come back to Brisbane to check it out properly.
