Sunday morning and once it was a race to Church, at least I arrived be for the notes, it went wrong at twenty to ten; my Sister was on the phone! Mum is still having falls, I say ‘still’ as if she will get better, her new room is closer to the staff so they can get to her quickly, I’m told Mum hasn’t noticed the move; I suppose her things are in there it must be home.

I had intended to be there early to see where the lighter was, strait after the first hymen I was called, so I was and walked up the alter, just behind it was the long handled muffler with a spill on the other side; my only problem was I a litter giddy.

Last night I was next door, the open home and open hearted people, the first thing they give me was a glass of white wine, the glass was on the huge size and full, it took me two hours to find the bottom of the glass; thankfully there are as generous with food as they are with the wine; and it was a good move to avoid top-ups of wine!

I wonder if the church noticed my wobble, at lest I didn’t set fire to the Church. There is another event on Saturday morning, a mince pie and coffee gathering, and then we decorate the Church, I’m not dressing a tree at home so I do it at Church; my Christmas fix for this year! I wonder if I will put me on the ladder I’m ok with ladders as there is plenty to hold on to, chairs no as standing up there with nothing to hold, I noticed my balance going on the steps going up to the meadow; there were steps in front and behind with brambles to the right and space to my left – some way I managed to keep upright ……

Around here the lights are going up in windows and trees decorated in the lounges, this week I have Christmas Cards from the Church to pop in homes near me, we are having the Carol Series next week, I expect there will be more there to sing the Carols; I’m quite enjoying this in Church – other wise I’m feeling at little dictated from the build up!
