My 23 year old kitchen stove finally died… so two weeks ago I ordered a new one from Sears (the only place within 30 miles that one can get a new stove)…
The delivery crew showed up on time (go figure)… and did a nice job of removing my old stove… and installing the new one… then showing me how to operate it (pretty simple)…
The weather here on the coast is windy and rainy… and just a bit cooler… about right for this time of year… and we really need the water…
It has been a nice weekend… College football and Nascar racing on t/v… and… reading a book all the while listening to (and watching) the rain…
I drove into town for a late lunch this afternoon… but with the rain didn’t feel like running errands…
So… came home and mopped the kitchen floor… not as exciting as it sounds… (smiles)

It's been a hard week for appliances. You with your stove, my parents with their washer, my best friend lost her big screen tv and microwave, and I lost a vacuum. I'm glad it's replaced already. I hope your Tuesday is a good one!!

What kind of stove did you get? (glass cooktop?, induction cooktop?, double ovens, warming oven?

Nothing fancy... just an electric range (coil burners on top, self-cleaning oven of course)...
