Just a little talk with Jesus in My Unpredictable Life ...

So I finally got an update on my Dad at 7:19 this morning. sigh Anyway, he has type A flu and pneumonia, which because of the lung cancer, it's not helping him at all. And neither is the high fever. The hospital he was transported to, transported him to the VA since that is where he has been going for his cancer for the past 13 years.

I called my step Mom this afternoon for an update. My emotions couldn't handle it any longer waiting for her to call. She said he had much improvement. He'd gotten his appetite back and was making up for lost time lol. His fever had come down some. He's on lots of antibiotics and Tamiflu and they seem to be doing their job. I asked if he was cussing yet and she said he was big time. So that there is a good sign to me. When he gets to fussing and cussing, he's on the mend lol.

Thank you all for the kind words of comfort and offers of prayer. I have always said I have some pretty awesome Prayer Warriors and y'all haven't failed me yet. I sincerely thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Let's just hope he continues to keep improving.
