I had a good day yesterday My fiancé fixed a wonderful dinner We had chicken, mashed potatoes stuffing and yams. This was our Thanksgiving dinner. Then on turkey day we are going to go to the Senior Center where they will have a Thanksgiving Day dinner for the entire town. We go down there every year.
I made the mistake of having coffee after dinner. This kept me up a good bit last night. I love coffee but no more coffee for me late in the day. Anyways watched tv for a long time. Don’t remember what I watch except for Saturday Night Live. It was not funny. Think I finally went to bed around 1 or two. Then I had some very weird dreams.
I remember this one very vivid dream I had. I was the son of a very wealthy man WE were in this building. It was a library. Building was painted white and very clean. My father was impressed with the new library. He was going to write out a check and make a large donation. Then one of the workers said something smart to us. I told her that she was fired. She didn’t get fired and when we came back to write the check she was wearing a dress and was very nice to us. My father wrote out a check for a half million dollars. Have a lot of weird dreams.
I did a lot of reading yesterday. I am reading this one book about Winston Churchill called The Last Lion: Defender of the Realm by William Manchester and Paul Reid. Really enjoying this book. The author talks mostly about Churchill’s role during World War II I am at the part where the “Big Three”-Roosevelt, Churchill and Staling are heading for the Yalta conference. it was in 1944 and the war was almost over. It think it was here where the Allies discussed the fate of a peace .
I want to finish this book. I bought two books this month. One was Stephen King book called Bazar of Bad Dreams It is a collection of short stories. Then I bought a book called Rogue Lawyer by John Grisham. Thee are two of my favorite fiction authors. I can’t wait to get started on these books.
