pane of glass in Book of Lies.....

We spend our lives in a constant state of evolution. Whether we evolve or devolve, humans do not function well in stasis.

We constantly look for something different. Something better. Humorous how it is something just out of reach. Seen but untouchable. Like looking at heaven through a pane of glass.

Clear as can be seen but unachievable. Maybe better not to be seen at all. We aspire. Then lament. We hope.

Funny how a pane of glass lets in the light but keeps out the dark.
