A tragic family - but more too in blackpropaganda

The front page news in the tabloids is the conviction of a 28 year-old man and his 21 year old girlfriend of the murder of his sixteen year old step-sister. She was the daughter of the father in the marriage, he, the son of the mother. Now that the full picture has emerged after the trial the whole scenario was of two dysfunctional people who appeared normal to the people around them, but consumed by their own personal and sexual interests, and finding that they wanted to move out of the confines of internet porn to explore the reality of sex with teenage girls - and his step-sister became the victim of this activity.
Not only was she strangled, and then stabbed - but removed from her home, taken to their home, and her body dismembered and hidden in bags. His defence was that he meant to frighten her, things went wrong, and her panicked, and his girlfriend had nothing to do with it. The jury did not believe him, or her.
They lived in squalor but one clinching piece of evidence for forensic teams was the absolutely pristine state of the bathroom, when she had been dismembered.
Neither of the guilty has shown any remorse.
So the questions start - how were they so de-humanised - and one answer, as always, comes back to the use of internet porn. However, what becomes clear is that they were both people with damaged personalities who found each other - and the porn was only one aspect of their lives.
The family were devastated - although they are together - and so many lives have been shattered.

On another totally unrelated topic - I think the National Lottery is the biggest con out. We have been playing the same numbers from the start - like many people, day, month and year of our birthdays - all different - six numbers - out of possible 49 - all for £1 each - and we have won the odd £10. Then they upped it to £2 a go - and now added ten more numbers - up to 59. They argue more chances of getting big prizes - but really it is a con - I have less chance of getting a small prize. Of course I still play - just in case - but I wonder for how long? I have a better return from my Premium Bonds!!!

And the north and west of the UK are waiting for Abigail - the first storm of the season (now given names) - things should get a lot colder once she goes through - and the leaves should be all off the trees. Winter is coming - and Christmas too.
