Remembrance Day - and quite fortuitously we were at the town’s war memorial just before 11 am and so were able to be there for the two minutes silence - and the trumpet calls. Glad about that - although I did not have my poppy on!!!!

Was not sure last night what today might bring since SW… tripped on the way to a friend’s house, and came back afterwards with a split lip and scratched nose - she feel on her hand and over the evening the pain got worse - although there did not seem to be any swelling - it looked like a trip (no joke) to A & E this morning - but overnight the aching eased - and it looks like things are fine. Not sure why it hurt so much last night.

Anyway, some relief all round - and no need to re-organise activities because one of us cannot drive - it just shows how we rely on separate social lives at times by having teo cars - even though they are both a round ten years old. They still go well, but SW… is making noises about a ‘new one’. I wonder if a VW would be a good thing now they cannot sell many!!!!
