…or Veterans Day: The eleventh month, the eleventh day, the eleventh hour. Fort Rosecrans, up on top of the Point where many will leave prayers for family members tomorrow. My father is in Chula Vista. He served in the Army. Up on the side of the Point lie Georges dad, he served in the Army Air Corps. There’s my dear friend Dale. He too was in the Army but in a different war as was Bobbies husband, Mikey. The old Fort is a focus for those family members and friends who lie elsewhere. Don and his friend Gene. Paul…who served in Korea…the forgotten war. Who will you honor today.
- Himself: Food sitting heavy but ok.
- Herself: Oh, guilt…I took flyers to a meeting and ate cookies.
- Reading: Still “Lady Bird and Lyndon.”
- Gratitudes: That it’s been a lovely sunny day.
