Wyeth... in These titles mean nothing.

I have so little so say…

I have so much to say…

Either way I don’t seem to be saying it.

This is an Andrew Wyeth painting that I love. When I looked up the image I got a dozen different versions of it. Some light, some dark, some in between. I picked the first one which was the lightest one.

I’ve been writing in 750 words for over a month now. I have a streak going. I do it in the mornings before I go to work. It’s easy and I’ve been using themes and everything is good. Except. I have lost two entries this week. Yesterday’s and Monday’s are gone. The program is giving me credit for having written the words but the words are not there.

I had noticed a few blank entries before and I had brought it to the attention of the people who run the place and was told maybe I hadn’t exited the program correctly and it had not had a chance to save it. I’ve tried since to be sure to close the program before closing the browser - which I think may be the problem. I will be more careful in the future - sure I will be. I’m such a careful person. You all know that.

Still.... the program automatically saves as you write. Still.... I get credit for having written.

Anyway.

I will move on with life.

Oh wait before I can move on with life, I have to tell you about my other internet tragedy. I lost AdBlock again. Firefox updated and AdBlock went away. I tried to reinstall it several times without success.

It’s a plot, I tell you. They are all in it together. Nasty damn internet gremlins.

Now.

I’m ready to move on with life.

I’m pretty sure.

It’s cooled off some. Today is sunny and cool. We had fire last night. I’m barefoot this morning butnot particularly happy about it.

Work has slowed down some. I worked from 4 to noon yesterday but today belongs to me. I have good days and not so good days. The work itself is engrossing and the people are generally nice. Some are very nice.

I ran over a raccoon yesterday morning. Big one changed its mind on which way to go mid-lane. There have been a lot of dead animals on the road this fall.

I have an appointment to get the Buick’s dimmer switched replaced Tuesday. I hope it works out. I don’t think a faulty dimmer was responsible for the coon accident though.

I bought a big bag of leftover Halloween candy and I have been eating it. Malted milk balls, KitKats, Reeces Peanut Butter Cups - it will probably be best when they are gone.

I also bought a new alarm clock. The new clock can be read in the dark. It runs on batteries so I suppose the all night feature will decrease battery life. I took the old one to work because we are supposed to be keeping track of our efficiency and I needed to know what time it was. I live a simple life.

I have way too many I’s in this piece of writing. I have not been able to get into much flow. For that I’m sorry.

The next sentence will begin with the word I, I’m sure. I promise to do better and to write more about U next time.

Oh one thing more, the Dem affair was last week instead of two weeks ago. We were walking down the sidewalk wondering why there were so many empty parking places and I said I know the email said November 1. I saw it both times. Well the problem was it wasn’t November 1 it was still October whatever comes a week before November 1.

Anyway we went back the next week which was November 1 and had a good time. We met Rob Hogg who is running against US Sen. Chuck Grassley, and the same candidates who ran for the US House of Representatives seat last time. I had a hard time deciding who to vote for in the Primary election last time and I will this time too. Last time I voted for the man, this time I will probably vote for the woman.

Funny thing about politics, some people say they are all crooks, etc. but it seems to me when you get to know them they are decent people. Running for office is a hard thing. I give them credit.

Ok that’s it for now. I will try to write more later and sooner - both.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone.
