Let's add this. in A small but passable life.

First I’ll add an addendum to my last entry:

It was rather odd that I stumbled across that interview last evening. I don’t think it’ll be aired for the mainstream media. It’s probably not anything the powers that be will be interested in.

I just finished reading “High-Rise” by J.G. Ballard. A nice little novel.

And I just found an email waiting for me that said I have another book to pick up. I already have one in the pile so that’s nice.

We’ve decided that the battery in the van needs to be replaced. It’s 4 ½ years old and it’s been drained dead and left dead for months at a time so that’s a pretty good life well lived. It’s still under warranty so we’ll head to Sears in the morning and see what’s up.

Dinner tonight is a Crockpot full of pinto beans and ham hocks, fried tators, and cornbread. Yum, yum!

Today has been rather cloudy but still warm. A nice Fall day.

I was going to wait a bit to scribble another entry. You know, let the last one ferment a bit, but only one note in the last day or so, so what the hell.
