Posting pictures and a few written words in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

Got up at the “normal” time of 4:45. Blah to do that on a Sat but whatever. I started laundry and finished the stuffed elephant. Not sure I’ll make another one. He’s sorta cute but it was more tedious for me to complete than it probably should have been. Won’t give it as a baby gift as I just don’t think it will be tough enough to handle a baby or child’s play and don’t want it to come apart at the seams right off the bat. I suspect it could.

No grands this weekend. First time in several weekends and believe it or not I kinda missed them being here this morning. Mowed/mulched my yard this morning. It’s a bit windy and we were hoping to get some rain but not yet. Hopefully soon or fires will become a reality even more than right now. Cloudy and overcast hints at rain but it was like that all day yesterday and not a drop. I’ll be praying for Mexico as the hurricane headed their way sounds like a force of nature of major destruction.

Ok, here are some pictures of some of the baby stuff I’ve made over the last few weeks. I apparently have no pictures of the changing pads, receiving blankets and burp cloths that I made and gave to my step nephew 3 wks ago and I’ll try and do better at keeping that up to date so I can remember what I gave who. Oh well, not a stopper just annoying.
