We are on the brink of winter!

The clocks go back tonight - a depression going through is dragging much colder air with it - and there could be sleet and snow showers on the hills in the north.
We shall have our wood burning fire on this afternoon while watching the South Africa/ NZ rugby match.
I shall be making spaghetti bolognese - followed by baked apple with custard.
I have all my sweaters ready for wearing.

The good news is that in eight weeks time the days start getting longer again.
