Yesterday was the foggiest day I've seen in a very long time. Thick, enveloping, impenetrable fog was spread out across the whole city and despite waiting all morning for it to burn off, it never did. Thus Claire and I headed to the park anyway and enjoyed ourselves in our own little December muddy, windy, cold, foggy bubble. I have not found a single weather scenario yet that has slowed her down, made her want to stay inside or made her be anything but happy to be out and in it. Kinda love that about her. :)

The last few months Claire has been extra snuggly. I'm not sure if it's the colder weather or me being back on day shift meaning we get to spend more time together outside (instead of sleeping the days away!) or if she's just getting older. Regardless, I'm loving it. She's taken to crawling up my body, nuzzling her head into my chest and falling asleep there. It's the sweetest and best thing she does with me. If parenthood is 1/10th as wonderful as that feeling is right there, I'm in for a world of heartsplodin' someday. :)
