I have came here to read entries and write several different times over the last few days, but my concentration just wasn’t having it. Not sure it will this morning for long either but here goes.
The test results confirmed it was a staph infection. Thankfully the antibiotics are working and I will return back to work tomorrow. I’d really like to stay home but in 90 days I will be. Heh! I go back Friday to get it looked at again and make sure everything looks ok and feels ok. The antibiotic is Septra and gives me a major headache, but usually Aleve takes the edge off the headache.

I sewed a lot over the last few days. I made several oversize receiving blankets, changing pads. a stuffed turtle, bib, and then yesterday I made a cushion for the wooden chair I bought at the WS and then finally got finished staining it. I need to make more baby gifts as the baby announcements are crazy right now. 5 nephews and their wives or girlfriend and so far 2 boys, 1 girl, and 2 not known yet. I’m actually about out of flannel fabric which is amazing and will prompt either an online order or a shopping trip. I’d like to take pictures of the stuff I’ve made over the last few days and hopefully I will for my remembering.

A is going to submit her application and resume for a position as something for headstart. Her being a single mom and no way to budget since her income varies from week to week as a hair and nails stylist is taking its toll. I hope she fills out other apps but who knows about A. She will make it one way or the other.

I wonder if I will really clean this house once I retire? I had to FORCE myself to stop sewing to clean yesterday and hated every minute of it but would have hated it even worse if someone would have stopped by and saw what I don’t get done in the house. Geeze!

Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts this week. I really was amazed how quickly it started healing once the drainage was done. With your prayers I’m sure it speeded things up.

Take care and God Bless
