New watercolours - hot from the framer in blackpropaganda

On the cruise ship I went to watercolour classes, and although I have been painting for a long time I found them interesting and challenging. Essentially thet were exercises in watercolour techniques - and since the class only lasted 90 minutes at the most we were working at full stretch with the tutor - these were two picture I was happy with and have got framed.
This was an exercise in negative painting - leaving the white, and getting different shades of blue

and this a study of a bluebell wood using wet on wet techniques - it is nowhere in particular but captures the spirit of such a wood.
