Mooning around in blackpropaganda

SW.. woke me up at 3.10 am so that I could see the supermoon eclipse - using a cliche ‘I was over the moon’ (not) being in the middle of the dream.
So I put my glasses on, tried to open my eyes and saw it - then a couple of minutes later saw it again - then went back to bed. As far as I remember SW… got up again to see what it looked like 30 minutes later!
I am unlikely to see the next one in 2033 so I am pleased I saw it!

We are off to Spain at the end of the week, and it looks like we are in for some rain there - actually they need it in the SE of the country, since it is the driest area and has not had hardly any rain since March. We are going to put everything back from where the family in the summer have put things - and also to have a bit of a rest - we are still getting over the cruise. People cannot believe it, but we were so busy that for most of the time we never sat down for more than an hour at a time.

Anyway - we shall miss lots of the Rugby World Cup - and get lots of news of Catalonia voting to become independent - although this is unlikely to happen in the near future. The soccer matches between Barcelona and Real Madrid are tense enough already.
