Beach and Park in In the Meadow

My mom is feeling better. She has been in the short term rehab facility for a little more than a week. She is recovering from a urinary tract infection. In the past couple days she has been saying she wants to go home. The doctor had recommended her staying there for three to four weeks. She is still weak in her legs and at risk of falling. She has finally gotten over the nausea and is feeling better. I have been reminding her that she needs to be patient. When she first went to the hospital she couldn’t put any weight on her legs, and she has been standing up and moving by herself in the last couple of days.

The kids and I have been going to see her. Now that she is feeling better she has been verbal and eager to talk to them. The kids and I have also been to the beach. We went yesterday but there was scattered lightning throughout the afternoon. We had to leave the beach. The kids played frisbee on the lawn. Today it was warm but there was a cool breeze. It was cool for the beach. We went for a walk by the canal, played video games at Lasertron, and got ice cream.
