If it isn’t bracken and I’ll still enjoy it! in The odd entries from life …….

I little of the old life today, Lola went to Agility with Jo, it was the first Sunday Agility Class since ….. While the jumping and rolling in the grass next to Jo’s feet was going on I was buying a kettle, our old red kettle has given up; as some one of the household said ‘it was fine when I used it; but we were considering the next time!

I tried Lidl and they had no kettles, they had vacuum cleaners and digital scanners but both are useless when it comes to boiling water. So I just had to go next door, Morrisons is next door and to go there on a Sunday morning at the height of the holiday season was just awful, people on holiday in large numbers was an assault on your ears, ‘what you say’

I was way passed isle 10 when I found some one to ask where their kettles were ‘There in the electric section’ he must have seen whet I was thinking ‘isle 7’ he told me! There were three kettles to choose from and quite of empty shelves space, the cost of one court my wallet; £12 is £12 these days.

I got back to listen to the last two disks on ‘Desert islands Disks’ next came a real treat ‘I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue’ a panel game where commits are asked to do strange things, one of the odd things that had to be dun, one was to sing an upbeat song to the music of ‘Bridge over Troubled Water’ They have been doing odd things like this as long as Desert Island Disks have been sending celebs to desert island; if it isn’t bracken and I’ll still enjoy it!

Just like other times I get ten minuets of ‘I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue’ I find it dangerous to listen and drive, so I miss the rest.
