Well, I’m home. I finally got back late Wednesday evening. I’ve been catching up on the cleaning as I don’t think Hubby and Tony have done very much! I’ve also been spending time in my garden which I have been missing so much. It’s amazing how much it has changed in 5 weeks, the lilies I planted are in full bloom, there are a mass of poppies by the hedge and my Mountbatten rose, that I planted earlier this year has several blooms on it. It is lovely to be able to go out there and feel all of the troubles just fade away.

Cat has messaged me to say that everything is OK. I do hope it carries on being OK as I have a lot to catch up on. I cancelled a doctor’s and a dentist’s appointment when I went and also my three yearly mammogram, so I need to make new appointments. Then I was about to arrange a day out with an old schoolfriend so I can do that now. Next Friday we’ve both been invited to an open mic, looking forward to getting back into that, and of course I can get back to my voluntary job on the crisis line.

While I was away I did manage to do some work on my autobiography and write a short story set in the area where Cat lives, so that is good, I also got back to regular yoga so must keep that up.

It looks as though there may be a sunset tonight. How I have missed the sunsets. I didn’t see hardly any in Cardiff as the windows faced the wrong way. Here we face almost west and are halfway up a hill and get glorious sunsets. They say there will be a blue moon tonight which is quite rare so looking forward to that too.
