On Credit Cards in New Diary

I updated my Barnes and Noble account. I made my new credit card the default payment. I am sweeting bullets because I want to buy Harper Lee’s new novel Go Set a Watchman. I almost caved in. They make it so easy to buy things online and before you no it you are in debt up to your eyeballs. I am not going to fall into that trap. I kept telling myself I do not need a credit card bill next month. I do not need a credit card bill next month. This will only make my finances that much worse! I am not going to go into debt. But it is so frigging easy and so frigging tempting

I keep thinking about all the negative consequences if I start using that damned credit card. The number one reason is that I will rack up a big bill I will not be able to pay it off in full. I will never get out of debt. I will lead a nightmare life because debt collectors will be hounding me day and night to make a payment. What benefit I might get from making a credit card purchase far out weights the problems that result

I probably will make some purchases with it this month. But these are for things I absolutely need. I intend to keep the purchases to the absolute minimum so I can pay it off in full next month.

One thing I do not need is books. I have at least six unread books on my Nook. I have enough reading material to keep me busy for a couple of months. No I am not going to buy books this month. I am not.
