The drama unfolds in keeping it postive

As I was resting in the park after taking a long uphill climb, I noticed a young black man sitting across from me. He might have been African.

He was drinking coffee and then spoke on his smart phone.

Eventually a white man came up. Clearly they weren’t friends. The white man kept making signals that he wanted the phone. The man who had it very calmly refused to give it to him. Kept moving the phone away from the newcomer.

A young woman came up - friends with the white guy. She greeted the black man; he gave up the phone.

From what I deduced, the black man had found the phone, called a number on it and spoke with the woman. He arranged to meet her in the park - public place - to return the phone. He hadn’t made any arrangements with the man whose phone it was and wouldn’t give him the phone. I don’t know if the man said thanks; it seemed as if the woman had.

I didn’t see the man whose phone it was give the man any reward for finding and returning it. Ah, integrity is ONE sided.
