Some days of the week ….. in The odd entries from life …….

The end of a day and a week, and it was a mixed week judged by the weather as there was one day, a Tuesday I think, I was out and in of the house in my cheep but useful long red mac; I must have looked like a frantic Large Red Ridding Hood!

We said good bye to Gill’s Swing Seats, the rust has been working through it for some time, as I work to take it apart the steel was falling apart, it seemed rather sad that Sweetheart’s seats was crumbling away just a few weeks after her passing. I was nice to seat out in a evening watching the stars coming out.

Soon we shall gather in the lounge, we are still watching ‘One Foot in the Grave’ I notice they don’t laugh but they do smile where we would of laughed; and in time they will laugh at those bit once more.

We have began going through the cupboards, I do the high places and the doubtful corners, tomorrow I shall dump the black bags at the tip, like the swing seats went today! There was a our second washing machine lined up for the tip, its problem was once in it was in the program it would keep going, I had to wait for the high speed spin on its run through the third time of the program, then I stopped it before it took on into a fourth run of program.

Washing machine now are back braking heavy, I know there are weights to keep the drum running smooth, the last one I took to the tip I had removed the weight, this time the weight is fix in with a sort of star shaped screw, of course I had nothing that would fit; so Son and me were having the machine out of the car – I was just thankful we didn’t have to lift it over the bars and into the bin.
