When my wife came home, I asked her how her day was. It was okay. She didn’t have much to say. Several silent moments later, I told her that my day was pretty bad. Like… it was a not good day over all. To which she replied… “Did you know that Top Gear was going to Amazon?” Yeaaaah. Always good to hear from a spouse… my day sucked.... oh, a foreign TV show you love is becoming pay-per-view… k, never mind. Clearly my sucky day is subordinate to her favorite show.

I tried to tell her more… y’know… in case she was interested but didn’t know how to approach it… but she felt that my “yapping” was distracting her from her Cell Phone Game. BAH! At least, by the end of the night, what she was focusing on was the book I got her for her birthday. So… I know my gift is appreciated… just not sure if I am.
