Early entry in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

It is 4:46am on Thursday and after a not so restful night I was up and making my coffee some time after 4. Dude called me yesterday and his nurse called to give him the time for surgery on Friday. It is scheduled for 5:30 AM Friday. I guess I’ll go up tonight and stay in the hotel room they got. They got an extra bed for me in case and I guess I’ll do it. Might as well since I won’t sleep here anyway and have to get on the road by 2:30 AM to give me time. A and Owen are staying here tonight with J although A wasn’t too thrilled about sleeping on the guest room bed. She’ll survive. She can sleep in my bed if she wants but she never has before.

We all need your prayers and good thoughts. Now I’m getting nervous. Not taking my laptop but may be able to update with my phone.
