Nearly .... in blackpropaganda

There is always something to bring a little tension into your life. I like paying my credit card bill every month at the bank and just wait for the bill to come and use the paying in slip with a cheque from the bank I am with (I have a card from a different bank because when I joined up they offered incentives - now they have gone but I am a creature of habit!).
Anyway - the bill normally comes by the 20th - not here yesterday - and so expected it today - postman came - and not there. We leave tomorrow early - so I got a bit tense - but went to the bank to see if I could get it paid. I also added money to cover possible credit card charges while we are away since the next bill will be overdue when we get back. I know - why don’t I get organised!
Anyway the lovely lady at the till just said have you got your card - took the cheque - and it was done with a receipt quicker than usual.
I know there will be other issues - but I can now relax.
I have had my hair cut - hoping it will last for six weeks.
And we have so little to do I can go out walking this afternoon.
