Pack up your troubles.... in blackpropaganda

SW… is always in charge of the packing - I think, for all her moans about my lack of cooperation she likes having the power to suggest what I should take. TBH in the main I could not care very much - and we are trying to cut down as much as possible. I do need a DJ for the formal dinner - but can use the trousers on other occasions, a pair of black shoes, which will also be used for dancing, my anorak for the inevitable rain, shorts and polo shirts for the sun, sandals for onboard- and a pair of shoes/trainers which I will use when ashore.
My priorities are the leads for charging, Kindles, camera, painting stuff - and I have even made a list.
We are distributing itineraries and maps to friends who might like to know where we are at any time - I suspect when we have gone they will forget all about us!

Meanwhile elder son and family are at the apartment in Spain in temps of C34 degrees. The younger one and family follow them out - and I think they will not be too concerned where we are - as long as everything goes OK there.

I hope to send the odd entry when I buy wifi time on the ship - and it will help me remember what has happened since I would guess I shall lose any sense of time and date once we are in the north Atlantic.
