…Lick Me, Bite Me, Suck Me, Fuck Me… Anyone who has seen ‘The Producers’ will know what I’m talking about.
They were the nick-name’s of some of the old ladies haha. Haha, I saw it today with my mate Lindsay. God it was a good movie. Towards the start I wasn’t thinking it was as funny as other people had told me it was, but I really got into it. I was amazed half the actors could actually sing, but Lindsay still thinks Uma Thurman can’t. I didn’t think she did too bad!! I’m really glad I went and saw it! I also got excited at the start during the previews cos this ad came on that I hadn’t seen before (Lindsay groaned when he saw the start of it which meant he knew what it was and knew he wouldn’t like it), and I didn’t even realize what it was until the title showed at the end - “Rent”.

WE’RE FINALLY GETTING IT!!! I said to Lindsay, “I SO can’t wait to see that!” and he goes to me, “Yeah…we’ll have a talk about that after the movie…” lol, smart-ass.
But as ‘The Producers’ went along, and I noticed all the gay characters in it, I said to him, “…And you’re getting up ME about wanting to see RENT?” He just laughed. But I’m excited cos I can FINALLY see what all you guys have been going on about it the USA. It’s about time! Didn’t say when it was coming out though. I thought I’d put a note here to congratulate myself (haha how egotistical of me :P ), on my 200th entry! GO ME!!! :P I think Sydney is becoming more and more likely for my holidays. I don’t think I’d stay long cos I hear everything is expensive there
If I time it right I may even be able to go to the Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras. It’s funny cos years ago we used to watch it on the TV and I used to think there’d be no way in hell you’d see me there. I think I even bagged it out cos I didn’t know I was gay then haha. I know my dad used to go on for ages about how wrong it all was. How funny would it be if my parents saw me in the crowd there, or even worse, it the parade hahaha. It’s just the biggest gay and lesbian festival in the world, but I’m sure you all knew that lol. Today was a pretty good day otherwise. I only woke up at 12:10pm, to find 3 messages on my phone, 1 being from Lindsay to ask if I wanted to hang out in the city. I went and posted a letter and then messaged him back saying I’d be right in. Nev had two of his friends over. I didn’t recognize them, just left the house. They were talking about plants. God I hope my conversation doesn’t resort to that when I’m a middle-aged gay man hahaha.

I’m watching the Federer vs Haas match. I’m not sure if this match has already finished or is being played live at the moment. I’m guessing it’s not live as it would be past midnight in Victoria at the moment. I’m loving the women’s draw. I think my favourite player is Francesca Schiavone at the moment - she’s just so nice. And in the men’s it’s Baghditus, for a similar reason.

Back to work tomorrow to start another work-week. At least this weekend seemed to last longer than the past one did. I’m on the countdown to my holidays now haha, and Dan will be back so work should be a bit more fun :) 6 weeks til holidays! lol. What’s that? Around abouts 42 days. Woohoo - and it’s Australia Day this week so I get Thursday off! Woohoo!!! I dunno what I’ll do for it. Everyone’s saying I should celebrate it, ad’s on tv and everything this year. I’ll see how I feel, I might find a parade somewhere. I was trying to upload photo’s but the internet’s being a bitch today, so maybe next time :) Love you guys, and i hope you all have a wonderful week. Make your fantasies good ones!!! ;)

Rent is wonderful! I have scene it 3 times!

I saw the producers on the main stage and it was good. I will be neat to see it on the big screen.

I want too see the movie version of The Producers, it has Nathan Lane in it, and I adore him as an actor. As for the Mardi Gras, it’s so completely over rated, unless you go to the after party, with Platinum tickets, there really is no point in going, since it was privatised by the big corporations, it has lost it’s soul. sigh

And, I saw the producers live on Broadway. And I loved the movie because it stays extremely true to the musical. And, I think Uma Thurmond can sing. Quite well, actually. But she drops the Swedish accent a few times. –Matt

when i went to see the producers earlier this month, I thought it was crap at first. I was seriously about ready to walk out of the cinema…but it did get better an it was pretty funny. cheesy films are ace. lol
