"my" tree in keeping it postive

My tree is gone! About 1 1/2 years ago, a seed got planted through the wooden slats in my patio. AND it grew. By the time I got here this visit, it was about 15-20 feet high. The homeowners association sent me a letter that it had to be removed.

I got in touch with the man who used to be the gardener at the condo complex to see if he could remove it. He came today - and in less than 1/2 hour, the tree was removed.

He also does carpentry and other types of work, so I gave him my late father’s collection of odds and ends from hardware type stores - tools, drill, drill bit, many types of nails, screws, etc. Yes, I paid him also. Next time something starts to grow, I’ll nip it in the bud… literally.
