His Last Act of Kindness in Him

I’m an anime fan.
I’m a Dragonball Z fan.
So, they are going to resurrect Frieza and there’s gonna be a new movie. I’m stoked. Rare showing in August. ONE WEEK ONLY.
He said he’s gonna buy me a ticket…or a pick for my hair. I’ll be looking for the pick. It will probably be vintage (aka used like the damn iPod of his he gave me for my birthday one year). I was so unimpressed. And I lost it.

He also didn’t remember my birthday and I didn’t make a big deal of it. He called me when I was at court with my friend all day Thursday to convey his best wishes. Told him what I did. Didn’t really want to spend a lot of time talking to him. I was an afterthough. I wished him a Happy Father’s Day before and on his birthday sent him greetings. I was an afterthought. That’s okay. Soon, he will be too.

So it wasn’t really an act of kindness more so than him being kind enough to think of me as an afterthought. I don’t really care anymore.
