There is no universal answer.
There are no gurus.
If you’re gonna find any answers at all,
you’ll just find the ones that work for you.
No poem is going to help you out.
No priest or motivational speaker either,
let alone fashion trend or weight loss gimmick.
If you’re gonna walk the path of life
and do anything more than just get through
you’re gonna have to find a set of parameters
unique to you.
I’m sorry.
There’s no trick.
Oh God, I’m so sorry.
I really wish I could tell you there’s a trick.
I wish I could lie to you that there was a trick
because then you could live in false hope and
I could get really rich selling you hints but
either I’m a good man or a bad liar and
maybe there’s no difference between the two but
either way I can’t be that guy
I’m just no good with a lie.
I’m sorry, there are no gurus
you’re going to have to slog out
what actually is true for you.
If there was a magic elixir,
I’d certainly sell it and
have better shoes.
There is no universal answer.
I’m sorry.
