Sunday in New Diary

I finished the first chapter in my book America’s Constitution: A Biography. I started the second chapter last night. The author, Akhil Reed Amar, was talking about Congress. He said that Congress was not like the Congress under the Articles of Confederation. In the old government Congress was the only continental body Under the new constitution Congress was one of three branches. Under the old government Congress had not power to pass legislative laws. Under the new government Congress had power to make laws. It was an interesting read so far.

So much for going to bed and getting up early. I stayed up until after 1am. I just couldn’t get to sleep. I woke up today around 8:30. I feel like day old road kill Tried to read this morning but couldn’t concentrate because I was too tired. Hate this feeling.

Went over my budget for July one last time. All my expenses add up to $698.17 I even have money to buy an eBook for $12.99. According to my latest budget, I have $54.83 left. I’m putting that towards food. With my EBT money I should have $198 for food. Things are starting to look good for July

I watched a good show on CNN last night. They are showing a series called The Seventies. Last night was about the end of the Vietnam War and the fall of Saigon. It was pretty good. I remember that period very well. Then they were showing a show about the Jonestown massacre. They had on a few of the survivors who were telling their story/. It was pretty interesting .

Well fiancé just brought me up a cup of coffee. God b less her. That will perk me up and get me going Life really is good .
