Friday in New Diary

I missed a couple of days I haven’t been doing a lot. I finally finished my book America’s Unwritten Constitution by Akhil Reed Amar. I started reading another book by the same author America’s Constitution: A Biography. I am reading the first chapter about the Preamble to the Constitution. This is another interesting book but for some reason I just can’t get into it. I already read it once and I want to read it over again. I hate not starting a book and not finishing it.

Fiancé and I took a bus ride yesterday. We went to the K Mart Plaza . They have this Chinese restaurant that has the best buffet in town. I got a heaping helping of General Tso’s chicken and a seafood medley of lobster, shrimp and vegetables. I had two helpings. After dinner we did a little shopping at the Dollar General store and waited for the bus at K Mart. It was good to get out and very good to come back home.

Well in as 5-4 decision the Supreme Court made gay marriage legal in all 50 states. I think this is a good thing. I am against all forms of discrimination. I can’t see the big deal if two people of the same sex want to get married . They should have the same rights as the rest of us.

I have no water today. This is a bummer Hope they turn on the water today Mouth is so dry already.
