well. actually any day you’re alive [er.........] is a time to be alive just bc you are alive. fact is. we’re all really g*damn lucky to be here whether we like it or not. whether we want to be or not. and sometimes we don’t. I was aware of this before 2 yrs. ago but even moreso after. when you go through an experience like that. where you almost lose. your battle. you kindof have to appreciate life. fuk. I don’t talk about it and also that’s not the point of this entry.
I still don’t fully appreciate life but I appreciate it more.
no but what i’m referring to is that. legally. er gay marriage is legal. in all states. you know back when I hoped it would be someday that ‘someday’ was really far away. but that’s the thing. it always is until it gets there. and the trouble is we think we have time. until we don’t. If anything we need more love. and people going about carrying guitars. call me a hippie and I won’t deny it. if there’s one thing Pat taught me it’s the power of love. and evan helped me understand it.
um. I remember. at some tv music show think it was the grammys. something like 36 or 66 couples were married. and macklemore performed ‘samelove’. and that was so great. madonna was there. I would karaoke that song cause of how much I like it even though. I don’t rap well at all. and the week right after pride weekend too. interesting the way things work. or. work out I guess.
omygod. this is great.
