Ignorance is a wondrous thing! in rants

While on a LONG bus ride, the thunder and lightning were right overhead, and the rain POURED down. It let up for a bit, then poured again. I was lucky it wasn’t raining very hard when I got to my stop.

Remembering what I’d seen on the news about the severe weather in the midwest, I mentioned to the bus driver, “at least we didn’t have tornadoes”. His response was “well, we did, just without the wind”. HUH?? SMH (shaking my head).
