Tomorrow is the last day of school. There is an assembly and the kids are dismissed at 10:00 a.m. Timmy and Kayla will be finished with seventh grade and Aaron will be finished with fourth grade. We are still considering options for high school for the twins. We are deciding between a Catholic high school and public school. If they do go to Catholic school, some of them are girls and boys only and some of them are both boys and girls. We have talked with the admissions offices at the Catholic schools and with scholarships, we probably would be able to afford the Catholic high school and still put money away for college.

When I was in kindergarten through eighth grade we would stay with my grandparents when my dad was deployed. I would go to Catholic school when we were with my grandparents and then go to public school when we were in our regular home. When I got to high school I decided I wanted to go to public school. There were more activities available at the public high school and I wanted to participate in those.

I am not sure if we will send the twins to Catholic or public high school. They have always been to Catholic schools and they like it there. But in public school there would be more activities and a wider group of kids available for friendship. At the Catholic middle school the twins go to now, some of the kids go on to public high school and some go to Catholic high school.

So we will have some decisions to make in the next year. For now though we are enjoying the arrival of warm weather. The kids have been doing swim testing this week at the town pool. On Wednesday the pool opens for the season. The kids have also been riding their bikes.

I have been watching the show Mad Men on Netflix. I had never seen this show before. I have been watching the episodes in order and am midway through the second season.
