Friday in New Diary

I woke up around 6:30 today. I felt very discouraged. I am not making good progress in my book America’s Unwritten Constitution. I asked myself why do I buy hard books to read? I don’t know. I read along in that book and the material is like going in one ear and out the other. I go back and keep reading the same thing over and over again and keep forgetting the same material. I am on chapter 3 of that book and I couldn’t begin to tell you what it is about.

I swear I am going to keep on reading it until I finish it. I paid $15 for it . I do not like spending money on books and not finishing them. I like to read books even if they are hard and boring and this one is hard and boring . I will finish this sucker .

It is very hot out today. Temperatures are in the 90s. I am staying in where it is nice and cool.
