Feeling better today in In the Kingdom of Suzu

Leg seems to be better today, still trying to get the hang of using crutches and walker. I can put some weight on the leg, but I am somewhat hesitant to do it for fear of putting too much pressure on it so I hop a lot. I use the crutches upstairs cuz the bathroom, TV and bed are there. Walker is for downstairs and I will probably take that for work.

I am an extra proud GM today—my oldest GD, Princess L—received an award for being the best musician at her school! She had a music show last night, I was not able to go, and had two pieces to play—violin and then a piano solo. My daughter’s ex has an ear for music, but my mom also did and PrincessL can play by ear but she is also taking lessons so she can read music as well. Very, very proud that of her.

Speaking of missing shows, jeff has a gig tonight which I am passing on going to—shucks—but they have several more shows coming up, so I will catch him at the next ones. Maybe they will dedicate the show to me—they did when I had the mastectomy so maybe they will again tonight.

Just found out that my SIL got his pix in the paper and he was on the local news last night! The company that he works for does something with making molds for the medical community as well as other businesses. A local politician toured the plant yesterday and it showed my SIL hard at work and now he is in the paper-----wow I am related to a celebrity😄😄😄
