Marachino in Thoughts On...

I don’t want to be that person, but I just saw a photo of the actress they have tapped to play Marty Marachino in the “live” Grease event coming in January and she is African-American|Black (I don’t know how to refer to anyone anymore). Marachino at best is Italian in ethnicity. I think they could have done better casting her as maybe Jan or Rizzo and if the latter, let Vanessa Hudgens play Marty. Marty just seems to white. And I am pretty much an expert on all things Grease & Grease 2 (film versions). I saw one live performance of Grease at the high school level and I was embarrassed just sitting in the audience.
